Page Six Magazine Chefsplosion

The upcoming issue of New York Post's Page Six Magazine hands us not one, but two features on chefs about town. There's a puff piece (what's up, Top Chef publicity machine!) about how Tom Colicchio's midlife crisis involves rock 'n roll, but we also get an inside look at a lunch honoring Ferran Adria at Wylie Dufresne's WD-50 -- a veritable summit of A-list chefs including Masaharu Morimoto, Sam Mason, Johnny Iuzzini, Alex Stupak, Jose Andres, Daniel Boulud, Dave Arnold, Lee Schrager, David Chang, and Alain Ducasse.

The reporting on the article — entitled "Food for a God" — takes a slightly odd religious conceit, casting Ferran Adria as "Messiah With his Disciples," and calls Sam Mason and Johnny Iuzzini the "young apostles of avant garde cooking." The meal even has photo highlights from the "Chefs' communion."

It's kind of cool to see all these guys palling around together — click on the images to see the full-size scans.
