Krispy Kreme Milkshakes at Richard Blais' Flip Burger Boutique

Jay Cridlin, from the St. Petersburg Times, visited Atlanta and managed to sample the Krispy Kreme milkshake at Flip Burger Boutique by Richard Blais (from Top Chef Season 4). Sadly, it wasn't as awesome as it potentially sounded. He reports:

It arrived still steaming from its nitrogen freeze, and was cream-colored, with tiny flecks of what must once have been doughnuts. I wish I could say it was an otherworldly culinary experience, but frankly, it tasted like a very sweet (almost glazelike?) vanilla shake. That's it.

On the Mouth of Tampa Bay blog, he adds: "The little flakes of Krispy Kreme gave it a nearly gritty texture."
