PETA's Sexy Vegetarian Super Bowl Ad Rejected by NBC [video]

NBC has rejected a Super Bowl ad from animal rights group PETA due to its sexy vegetable nature. Part of their "Veggie Love" campaign, the ad carries the tagline, "Studies Show Vegetarians Have Better Sex," and features various lingerie-clad women getting a little frisky with broccoli, asparagus, a pumpkin and other vegetables, going so far as making a vegetable stew in a hot tub. The New York Post reports that a PETA rep said: "PETA's veggie ads are locked out, while ads for fried chicken and burgers are allowed, even though these foods make Americans fat, sick and boring in bed." Either way, PETA gets the attention — NBC would have been better off showing the ad and taking their money.
