Prisoners Set Jail on Fire After Protest Over Food and Medical Care

Inmates rioted for nearly a week at a prison in Pecos, Texas over medical care and food quality, according to authorities. Riots have been an ongoing problem at the remote West Texas prison since 2007, this being the third in three months. Five years ago, Reeves County outsourced the management of its sprawling prison complex to a company, The GEO Group, the AP reports.
