No BYOC (Bring Your Own Coke) at Pizzaiolo in Oakland

The SF Gate ran the story "Bay Area diners' behavior grabs attention," ostensibly about diners behaving badly: pole dancing, sex in bathrooms, being mean, etc. You know the drill.

But then they drop this little nugget about the restaurant Pizzaiolo in Oakland and the customer who wanted Coca Cola so badly that they offered to pay a corkage fee, and even tried to smuggle it in on multiple occasions, only to get kicked out:

There was the woman who brought her own Coke - that's Coca Cola - to the restaurant...

"She offered to pay a corkage fee, but I told her she couldn't do it again," says [chef/owner] Charlie Hallowell, adding that he doesn't serve cola because he abhors anything with high fructose corn syrup. So BYOC - bringing your own Coke - is forbidden. But the Coke lady didn't get the hint and tried to smuggle in bottles on other visits. Hallowell booted her from the restaurant.
