Eric Schlosser on The Colbert Report [video]

Last night on The Colbert Report, Stephen Colbert was in prime form in his interview with Eric Schlosser, co-producer of the upcoming Food, Inc. and author of Fast Food Nation.

Colbert was pretty aggressive, resorting to his conservative parody persona, barely letting Schlosser get a word in, at one point even shouting him down (in noted contrast to his gentle interview with Mark Bittman). Colbert at the opening: "I know what you are, you're a food Nazi. You want to sit me down and force feed me kale." We liked this exchange:

Schlosser: It's really only in the last 30 years, that we've had this bizarre science fiction factory farm system.

Colbert: Science fiction factory system — do these cows have jet packs on? What are you saying?

Schlosser: If you see the film...

Colbert: I will not see the film. Fair warning.
