'Fake Food Brings Art' by Paolo Pivi at Deitch Projects

On display at Deitch Projects in Long Island City, Queens is "Pig," a group exhibition and survey of contemporary installation and sculpture. One of the works that caught our eye was "Fake Food Brings Art" by Paolo Pivi, a towering eight-foot sculpture composed entirely of fake food made of ceramics, glass, and plastic.

The show, in which the artists also served as the curators (including Jeff Koons, Paola Pivi, and Roberto Cuoghi), is presented in Deitch's massive waterfront space in Queens and is a reprise of a show from Art Basel Miami last December.
