Eat This and Die: Tracking Ridiculous Food Conquests

Say hello to the website Eat This and Die, sort of This Is Why You're Fat meets Man v Food. In their own words: "Scouring the planet for the most ridiculous food conquests... We provide the craziest food eating feats, challenges and contests from around the world."

For example, you'll find "The Texas King" at The Big Texan Steak Ranch in Amarillo, TX. The challenge: "Eat a 72oz steak, shrimp cocktail, beans, salad, and a bread roll (with butter). Finish it in less than an hour and it’s free; otherwise, it’s $72."

It's clear that the people behind Eat This and Die are angling for a book deal. Also, it's no surprise, but just like TIWYF, be mindful that when you submit a photograph, they own it.

Judging by the lack of comments, eatthisanddie may just have found the tipping point for sites that cater to the more, ah, revolting side of the biz.

This Is Why You're Fat doesn't have comments at all, so comments may not be the best indicator.

I'm sure that a comment function on TIWYF would consist entirely of "gross!", "blarghhh", etc.
