Alice Waters to Receive the French Legion of Honor

SFoodie reports: "Alice Waters has gotten a letter informing her that she's going to be receiving the French Legion of Honor," also known as the Ordre national de la Légion d'honneur. She joins other chefs including Auguste Escoffier, Paul Bocuse, Eric Frechon, Albert Roux, Bernard Loiseau, Alain Senderens, Eric Ripert, Jacques Pépin, and Julia Child.
