'Ketchup' by Martynka Wawrzyniak [food art]

Here are stills and a behind-the-scenes video from Martynka Wawrzyniak's exhibit "Ketchup" at Envoy Enterprises in New York City. In the performance aspect of the piece, she had a bunch of kids shoot her with water guns loaded with ketchup. The show also had a a series of photographs of closeups of photos of children with ketchup on their faces. Wawrzyniak said, "I'm a portrait photographer, but I didn't shoot these pictures. They were just stolen off of Google Images, by searching for 'ketchup face' and then going into random family photographs and cropping them really close and they got all pixelated... Funny that you can call it art right?"
