The Future of Food from the Electrolux Design Lab

Here are some of the finalists in the Electrolux Design Lab 2009 competition that challenged industrial design students around the world to create home appliances following the theme “Designs for the next 90 years." From fridges that teleport food, a cocoon that grows and prepares full meals, robotic greenhouses for Mars, and 3D molecular food printers, the future is definitely now. Or 90 years away.
