Is a Kate Gosselin and Paula Deen Talk Show in the Works?

deen-gosselinFile under weird idea: Marc Malkin of E! writes that Telepictures, the production company behind Ellen DeGeneres' and Tyra Banks' talk shows, is reportedly looking to develop a View-like mom-centered morning show with Paula Deen and Kate Gosselin.

Deen already has her own prime-time talk show on the Food Network, Paula's Party, but Malkin notes that while Deen has "signed a deal with Telepictures to host her own syndicated talk show, the project never took off." Meanwhile Gosselin began a guest-hosting gig on The View yesterday, which means she's getting the chance to test her popularity with a national audience. All signs point to this being quite possibly in the works.

We've said it before), and we'll say it again: "Your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should."

"...they didn't stop to think if they should." hah.
I want a show with just Paula Deen & her drunk hilarious assistant.
I'd even take Paula Deen & Paula Abdul...she might actually help her. Just please, no more Kate plus, crazy-mommy-hairhawk.

I LOVE Paula Deen and watch anything she's in and I think a talk show would be perfect for her. With that said, I vow NOT to watch any such program if Kate Gosselin is in it. Enough already.

That's all we need, another White Wimmens Talkin' Trash Show. The others could be Roseanne Barr, Brett Butler and the reincarnation of Minnie Pearl. I mean, Paula Deen is a train wreck unto herself (one more face lift, she'll be wearing a goatee!)but Kate Gosselin? For what? The whining?

No doubt the brains behind this are the same ones who thought giving Leno 5 hours a week in prime-time was a "cutting edge" idea. Oh, SOMEONE help me!
