Burger Off Between Josh Capon, Tim McGraw, Jimmy Fallon
Last night Josh Capon, the chef at Lure Fishbar in New York City, paid a visit to Late Night With Jimmy Fallon to participate in an improbable "Burger Off" between himself, Jimmy Fallon, and country musician Tim McGraw. Capon, emboldened by having won the People's Choice award at this year's NYCWFF Burger Bash, tells Fallon, "This burger beat Bobby Flay, it beat Shake Shack, it beat Minetta Tavern, we took down the big boys, so I'm not afraid."
Capon's Bash burger: meat from Pat LaFrieda, carmelized onion and bacon jam, american cheese, and shaved pickles.
McGraw's: ground bison, cajun seasoning, bacon, mayo, onions, heirloom tomatoes, lettuce, mustard, jalapenos, and cheddar cheese.
Fallon's: crumbled fritos, american cheese, pickles, lettuce, and tomato.
Fallon asks "What do you? You just lump chop meat together, flip it on, fry it, and it's over in ten minutes?" We won't spoil the winner.
