poptech-s Here are a few videos from PopTech's October 24th "Edible Futures" series featuring Michael Pollan; Will Allen, the urban-farming expert and organizer; and eating-designer Marije Vogelzang. This particular talk by Pollan included his controversial claim (that was immediately debunked) that "A vegan in a Hummer has a lighter carbon footprint than a beef-eater in a Prius." Pollan asked Poptech not to post his presentation without removing the statistic, and sure enough, there's an obvious edit at approximately 15:37 in.

If you're familiar with their work, it's nothing you haven't heard before, but nevertheless, these are some pretty in-depth presentations by some very skilled speakers. Warning: They're lengthy — clocking in at 23-30 minutes long — but totally worth watching.
