Fox Orders Animated Series Bob's Burgers

Fox has ordered thirteen episodes of Bob's Burgers, a show that "revolves around a creative grill chef who owns a just-barely-surviving hamburger restaurant. He runs the place with help from his uptight wife and their three less-than-helpful kids," reports The Wrap. The original concept of the show was about a "family of cannibals running a restaurant" THR said, but creator Loren Bouchard "dropped the cannibalism part." Bouchard has production credits behind Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist and was the creator of the Adult Swim series Lucy, the Daughter of the Devil. The pilot had Kristen Schaal, Eugene Mirman, and Dan Mintz as voice cast. Premiering 2011.
