TLC's Little Chocolatiers [epic television crossovers]

Premiering December 21st on TLC is Little Chocolatiers, a one-hour special featuring Steve Hatch and Katie Masterson, the husband and wife team behind Salt Lake City's Hatch Family Chocolates. During the premiere, "not only need to produce 600 chocolate dice for a casino night party -- they're asked to build a life-sized, all chocolate flower garden for a couple's fifth anniversary, but wonder how to complete a project that's bigger than they are. Then disaster is imminent when the air conditioner in their shop goes down..."

And then! Little Chocolatiers continues as a six-part series in 2010. Maybe The Soup was on to something when they envisioned "Fertile Little Tattooed Pageant Parents Who Enjoy Baking." TLC hasn't posted any preview videos yet, but here's what we found on YouTube:

I have been going to Hatch's Family Chocolates for years and I think that it's amazing! I'm looking forward to seeing this on TLC. Good job Steve and Katie. I'll be coming back this weekend for the best hot chocolate out there!

I really liked watching "The Chocolatiers" It would be great if it was kept on TLC as a series. All the things that they create with Steve accepting a job before asking his wife....she ia a good sport about it all.

This is the best show I have seen on tv. in a long time. It needs to be a full time series. Steve and Katie are great and it is so interesting watching how they work with the chocolate. Keep up the fantastic work.
